EMIL BULLS – album No. 8 "SACRIFICE TO VENUS" to be released on August 8th 2014
They are the exact opposite of ‘typical German’ and at the same time one of the flagships of the German music scene. Like no other band EMIL BULLS stands for a subtle underground spirit. For the past 19 years, the band has been delivering fresh and captivating tones without repeating itself. With success: their last album charted on number 16 in the German Media Control Charts.
Now, finally after three years, the 4 guys of EMIL BULLS release their new studio album SACRIFICE TO VENUS!
With a new record company, new sound and a new album the masters of Alternative Metal come back to business – and also to their roots. “SACRIFICE TO VENUS” sounds like the good old times. Imperious, energetic, atmospheric but also melodic and emotional: no matter if “The Bulls” party with their “Pants Down”, which will be the first single, - a song hearing you imagine some guys totally hammered in their rehearsal room. Or if singer Christoph reveals his beautiful voice and praises the feeling of the broken heart syndrome on “Dear Sadness”. The second single “I Wanna Feel You“, coming out on August 08th is a really catchy alternative rock song.
Strong emotions have been wrapped into heavy riffs and appeal to all facets of human feelings. Musical-wise the EMIL BULLS are too versatile to be classified, influenced by various musical genres, deliberately blowing up all confining walls. They take a small slice of whatever appeals to them, shake it, mix it and come out with their very own and very special thing.
"SACRIFICE TO VENUS" was produced by Dan Weller (Enter Shikari, Young Guns, Bury Tomorrow) in close cooperation with vocalist Christoph von Freydorf. Mixed by Florian Nowak (DailyHero Studios, Berlin) and mastered by Alex Kloss (Time Tools Mastering Studio, Hannover).
