After 8 studio albums, Italian folk/power metallers ELVENKING now finally fulfill the wish of their dedicated, worldwide fanbase and release a Live DVD. Recordings for “The Night Of Nights - Live” took place in Pordenone, Italy. The magic of this very special night was captured perfectly. “The Night Of Night - Live” comes as DVD/2CD Digipak, incl. the full show (25 songs and more than two hours playing time) on both DVD and CD. The DVD additionally includes the six official ELVENKING video clips as bonus.

Since 1997, Italian metal pioneers ELVENKING have been an active part of the European scene, steadily building a rapidly growing fan-base and performing around Europe. The band debuted on record in 2001 with the excellent "Heathenreel", but this would only be the beginning. Spreading mystic tales of fantasy and imagination to a wider audience, that album proved that their mixture of epic power metal and frisky folk was capable of instantly grabbing attention and was a lot more focused and real than many. "Wyrd", the band's second album was released in 2004, followed by another showcase of their musical individuality, "The Winter Wake", unleashed in 2006. With “The Scythe” the band continued to establish themselves as a magnitude in the scene and the album’s video track “The Divided Heart” became a real smasher, achieving plays in excess of over a million to this day. Their semi-acoustic 2008 follow up to “The Scythe”, “Two Tragedy Poets (...And A Caravan Of Weird Figures)” displayed their folk roots like never before and provided the band with their first European headlining tours and biggest festival bookings. “Red Silent Tides” (2010) saw the band return to full electric power, a tour with Primal Fear accompanied the release, as well as many headliner shows and festivals throughout Europe, proving that ELVENKING is more wanted than ever before.
With “Era”, the band’s 2012 release, the development on the live sector continued, paving the way for new adventures on the road in 2014/2015, starting with ELVENKING supporting Gamma Ray and Rhapsody Of Fire before releasing their latest studio album, “The Pagan Manifesto”.
